Title: 8 pieces of hell (ww spoilers)
Post by: StRaNgE on April 13, 2003, 09:18:12 AM
I have been going around finding triforce maps and collecting them and the pieces of the triforce and it is taking what seems forever. Either that or it's become so repetitive that I am just bored. I find myself having to force myself to turn the game back on to get the last 2 pieces now so I can return to the tower of the gods. This so far has been the only part of the game that has lost my interest and up until this point I was glued to the screen.
Someone please tell me that it becomes fun again real soon.
god I know this post sounded negative but I still think the game is overall just wonderful. I just wish it was maybe 3 pieces instead of 8. Whoever said this game was short must be smoking crack or not yet even put flowers at there cabana . lol

Hmm..- do you have Tingle's IN-credible map? It really helps. Otherwise, there's nothing you can do. I actually enjoyed exploring the overworld looking for triforce maps and pieces (well, the pieces were extremely easy to find- it was the maps that required work).

Yes I have it, it's not hard or anything like that just tedious repetitive is all. I have the ghost ship map left to get and the cabana one, I assume I have to solve that mixed up puzzle multiple times to get the map? I am not sure about the ghost ship yet, the 1st time I saw it before I knew it had a map I tried blowing it up with no luck.

The Ghost Ship map just makes the Ghost Ship not dissappear when you get near it- after killing half a dozen enemies, you get the triforce chart (the map also shows you where to look for the Ghost Ship).
You don't need a map for the Cabana- just the deed (which I assume you've already gotten). Solving that little shifting puzzle actually has nothing to do with the triforce chart in that cabana- it just gives you a bunch of rupees.

Well according to the GameNow walk through one of the pieces required you to go on a scavanger hunt collecting maps that eventually would give you a Triforce map, like getting three maps from underwater before actually getting the Triforce map. (The golden boat part) This must be the part near the end that Nintendo simplified when they brought the game to America.

Please use the Gameplay Help thread, but yeah I don't think I even touched the puzzles in the cabana until I already had the map.
