Check out the ancient forums that the community originated in! There are some posts way back to 2001, there would be more but it seems some links are broken

Yup, that's PGC. They were already complaing about Zelda back then.

Thats not how I rememberes PGC at all. & these forums originated as OPN2000 or am I remembering an alternate reality?

They originated at opn2000 but they looked just like that. They moved over to planetn2000 later on. The next iteration of the forums was green and didn't last too terribly long. Then we switched over to EZ boards for a couple years. Then we had the last forums for a while, which seamlessly got transferred over to these.

No posts in the N64 section = weak.
I remember when I first joined, the description of the forum was "Where Planet GameCube readers go to bitch about everything". Seems like there were a lot more complainers back then than there are now...

that's because that's a rouge shoot off of the originals when the first changeover took place. They saved as much as they could, but most stuff vanished. It has some remnants of the old boards, but it wont let you look at the archives.
