Title: Search feature is f'ed up
Post by: bustin98 on February 27, 2009, 10:10:49 PM
It doesn't matter the word I put in to search for, or which board I choose to search. I get the same results which is pretty much every post on every board.

Yep it is messed up.I tried looking for Kizuna yesterday.Got the same results on every board.

Oh something else I noticed. When I looked at Bills profile to look for a topic he created. I clicked on topic and it showed all of the topics that I made and not Bill's.

Is this (http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/forums/index.php?topic=26045.0) what you were looking for?

The search feature is borked, but it's not completely broken.  It helps greatly if you select Search in topic subjects only and choose one or two specific boards to search.

You wanna know how i search, sine that google string is apparently too long for me to remember?

I scroll down several pages(depending on how old I think what I'm looking for might be) using AutoPager extension for FireFox and hit Ctrl+F.

If i don't find it that way, then i say screw it.
