I know I know......Here Stogi goes again
But bare with me. I'm not trying to post pictures of weed (again), nor am I trying to talk about the last time I got high. Rather,, I would like for this to be a place where we can talk about anything drug related (medicinal or otherwise).
For instance:
Have you guys ever heard of Robotripping? It's possibly the dumbest thing you could. If you down a bottle of Robotussin, you'll overdose on the active ingredient and start to trip.
Sadly, I knew this kid a couple years back and he was all about it. He would tell me the lamest stories about how he Robotripped in his room at his parents house. Long story short, this **** permanently fucked up his head and he went schizo. He literally thought he was Jesus and that cold water was the source of his power. This was in my dorm, so this was ultra fucked up. He never wore shoes or flip-flops and only wore white. He threw out all of his belongings including his computer and anything else that wasn't white. He would do nothing but laugh and talk about his mom (the virgin mary). It was literally crazy.
One day, this crazy fucker came into my room while I was sleeping and without making a sound, pulled up a chair and sat right next to my bed. I woke up to him staring at me, literally inches away from my face. I shrieked in terror. He started laughing and asked me if I was ready. I was thinking "Oh no. Oh no. What is he going to do?" He kept asking me "You ready?! You ready?! You ready?!" I just sat there looking at him, uneasy, just waiting for an excuse to knock him out. Finally he stopped and got to his point, "I'm going to buy you a Wii today!" and he proceeded to whip out a stack of twenties. With a sigh of relief, I muttered "Thank you, God."
I had told him a couple times during his "sober" days, that I really wanted a Wii. He must have remembered.
Later on that day, I found out from one of my friends that this crazy SOB gave away my Wii money to some random broad on the floor above me. When I found out what happened, I obviously went looking for him. I checked his room,, I checked the lounge; nothing. I gave up and decided to go chill in the courtyard.
There he was....dancing in the middle of the lawn......to no music. Everyone was watching, staring, laughing.
That night. He ran away. His parents came the next morning and asked everyone if we knew where he was. No one knew. It was so strange.

Robotripping is for real and it really does work. A friend of mine who use to do it all the time committed suicide last month. While this certainly wasn't the cause, it obviously didn't bring him any revelations to live better.
Basically it messes with your head without providing the neat visuals.

I don't smoke. Never been interested in it. I admit at one point I nearly became an alcoholic due to problems with my family, but I quit for good and have been sober for two years now.
I am, however, a caffeine addict. Caffeine is technically a drug, right?

Yup. Most everything is a drug. Even non-tangible things such as acceptance can be a drug. If your an acceptance fiend, acceptance is your drug.

I don't smoke, and I have never had more then one drink in a day. Never gotten drunk or even "buzzed". The only things I drink if I do have an alcoholic beverage is the flavored stuff or fruit margaritas!

Oh i know its real, i've known people that do all sorts of drugs. I used to not really care until one day my uncle, who was only 2 years older than me and living with me at the time, came home with a tiny bit of coke and telling me a friend gave it to him but he wasn't gonna do it.. but did, and i saw just how fucked up he got. Now i can barely stand people getting high on weed around me (when they're stupid about it). Hasn't kept me from drinking though, but then again I have been drinkin less and less..
Anyway, sorry to hear about your friend. If it were me, after all i've seen and gone thru or saw other friends go thru, I wouldn't feel bad or sorry or anything. If you're too stupid to realize drugs aren't the answer for your depression or whatever is ailing you, and you over do it to the point you kill yourself from it by either ODing or just aren't coherant enough to not let your thoughts take over and end up killing yourself, thats your own damn fault and I'm not gonna bother losing sleep over it or mourning you.

Music is the only thing that doesn't need moderation.
EC: I've done a bit of coke. It was weird. It's exactly how it's described; addicting.
A buddy whipped out a ball while we were pre-gaming a year back and asked me if I wanted to do a line. I said sure (just to see why people are willing to kill over it; drug game). After I did a bump, I felt great,, a little speedy, but overall great. Then 5 minutes later, I wanted to do another one.
That was it. I cut myself off right then and there.

The sex with groupies helps a bit. Unfortunately, that was just during Play and before. Once 18 came along he cut back and the music suffered.

And that's the dumbest thing I've ever read. The study doesn't say that testicular cancer has increased and marijuana use has increased so therefore there is a causality. It shows that men who smoke marijuana are twice as likely to get testicular cancer. I think the biggest complaint you could have about the study is the relatively small sample size (369).
The BBC News link also doesn't go into great detail about whether marijuana is directly related to testicular cancer or if it could be caused by another factor that's related to marijuana use (e.g. people who smoke marijuana might be more likely to smoke cigarettes and that is the actual cause of the cancer). All they say is "even after adjusting the figures to take account of the other known risk factors, marijuana use remained a clear risk factor for testicular cancer". I suppose I could read the full report if I cared enough to, but I've already refuted Stogi's poorly thought post and I really don't care if his balls rot off. ;)

Well first of all, you can't believe everything you read. Secondly, Marijuana has been known to decrease the sperm count for a long time, but why is it only now that it has become a "health" factor? Thirdly, those that use marijuana are way more likely to use other drugs which the article does not address. And lastly, the way ANY marijuana experiment is held except those that set and supply predetermined amounts of the drug will always be defective at the core. So like I said before, this article isn't scientific relevant,, it's merely a survey.
