Title: Official NWR WiFi Night - February 6 - What game do you want to play?
Post by: Pale on January 29, 2009, 12:06:00 PM
The day is decided on and it's Friday February 6th. That's good because it gives us more time to run the 'What Game' poll.
All nominations have been included in the above poll.
PLEASE ONLY VOTE IF YOU ARE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6TH!
This poll will run until Wednesday morning. Then we will have a couple days to collect friend codes for Friday.

Hmm I went ahead and voted for Bomberman Blast. Even though I don't own it yet... it sounds like...
...a blast!

What, no Call of Duty: WaW? Oh well, Brawl it is for me. Agreed on Bomberman = blast. I'm extremely tempted on getting that at some point.

As much as I love City Folk I had to choose Brawl because I've yet to play it with any of the NWR members.

I'd like to register an official complaint that this month's WiFi night is on the same day as December's.

You can't play? bummer. It won by two votes though. I only do the "can't be the same day as last month" thing to break ties.

Nah, I generally won't be able to play Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights. December was an exception, but it's unlikely to happen again in the near future.
It's just slightly frustrating because Friday and Saturday beat out the others by a wide margin both this month and in December. I see a trend coming along which means that I probably won't be able to participate in too many of these.

I personally would much rather have weekday nights too. But I should be able to make this Friday one work.

BWii
Gotta do my part to make it artificially popular here.

You should have a "remove vote" link I believe.
I can't believe so many people like playing brawl despite the lag. ><

Cuz I know most of you will end up playing Smash Brother BLOL.

Furloughs for California State employees are apparently in effect beginning Feb. 6.
That means WI-FI ALL DAY LONG FOR ME.

The only 2 I own are Animal Crossing and Brawl, and Brawl is too laggy online to have any fun. So I voted for AC.

I think I get it now.
People aren't voting for Kart because they completely despise all the Casual Wheel nonsense.

I think we should definately exclude the last month's picked game from now on. Just so it's not the same thing every month.
Also, I voted BWii.
I agree, but the reason I picked Brawl over the other games was because I missed the last WiFi night and I've yet to play Brawl with NWR members.

Don't let AC win.

I think we should do at least couple of these each month. Why limit it to just 12 times per year?
Have the first one be for Brawl or Kart (switch off every time).
Have the second one be for less-popular titles (Castlevania Judgement, BWii, GH/RB).
Have the third be for WiiWare games (Bomberman Blast, Tetris Party, etc.).
Have the fourth be for Animal Crossing.
Repeat.

hmmm, I like Vudu's idea, but I don't think it would be practical to have a vote every week.... and if we just established a set day, then some people would never get to play. If there is a good way to make it work though, that would be cool.
