I haven't gotten past the first level of Maga Man 9 so I can sympathize.
I'm speechless. Are SUPER and I the only ones who don't think the game is that hard? I can do a zero-death speed run in under 25 minutes, and I'm hardly a speed run kind of guy.

Once you learn the patterns and the boss progression, the game is a breeze. Just takes a bit of patience during the first and maybe even second run through.

The game isn't that hard, but it's too obsessed with trap patterns rather than honest adaptation to combat.

I agree! OMG can't believe I said that. I was playing MM3 and it was challenging not because of spikes or pits (though it had those) but because of challenging combat

I only played the MM9 demo on the 360 and yeah, the game is more about memorizing patterns than it is about overcoming challenges. Yes, it can get hard, but if you actually pay attention then its a breeze.
