Title: Poll: political threads: no political discussion allowed!

The whole point of a moderator in a FORUM is to get between two opposing sides and keep them from becoming uncivil. Moderators in modern times are there to simply eliminate those who don't follow the rules, whether by banning or warning. What I wonder, however, is what do the forum visitors think about political threads?
Should they be allowed or not Vote!
remember no actual political discussion allowed..unless its on NWR policy. Odd there are national politics and then there are forum politics. I do understand that political debates can be subject to flame wars, but its fun to know what everyone thinks.

Also if you really want to discuss politics, these two places are for you if you like games and arguing politics all at once. (You know for those who feel the need to drag it into a place where people usually go to talk about fun things like games and try to get away from the political discussions)

It's pretty simple really. We do like to moderate discussions here in the traditional sense, but we decided that the combination of heavy partisan politics and internet anonymity is an un-moderate-able disaster.

Changing the voting options to Giant Dousche and Turd Sandwhich not only undermines democracy, but relates back to the South Park episode that clearly parodies the elections between George W. Bush and John Kerry. You sir just made this thread political. Way to go.

How could i have a serious political discussion with someone who might be a secret wii music, wind waker, madden, RPG, or anime fan in real life? It's just absurd.
