In progressive countries, 16 is a-ok. Hell in a lot of American states it's a-ok, New York and California dominate your culture so muh that jsut because it's 18 in those two, you assume it's nation wide. Like how in South Australia people think they can root 16 year olds and then find out the law says 17.
Although someone really should tel them that ina lot of games, the characters don't age. Or if they do they can sometimes age backwards (Check out Akari Hayami and Ricky Winterborn.) Wow these picks really do suck! Sakura from Street Fighter Alpha? I haven't read it all yet but does Ashley get a mention? Ok further through now. This is the worst list ever compiled.

Most people in America assume it's 18 nation wide because that's when you're legally an adult. Voting, buying cigarettes and being tried as an adult all come at that age. I guess consent is assumed to come with them. But yeah, can't forget the pompous jerks who assume they know everything.

A LOT of states have pretty different laws for this and people just don't know it.
In Washington State, a blue state with a red streak, you can have sex with 16 year olds provided it's consensual. Drinking is also legal to those under 21 if you are with your parents.

At what age can we have unconsensual sex?

It doesn't matter if it's legal in your state for an adult to **** a kid (ie 16 year old), it's still wrong.

In most states the age 16.

16 and what though? Certainly not 16 and 30 or anything like that. in Florida I believe it's 16 and 24, which I still think is pretty disgusting. 16 and 19, I can see that, 16 and 20...that's really pushing it, 16 and 21 and you deserve to go to jail.

Here is an idea, don't worry about the consent thing and don't have sex until marriage. Problem solved!
I do find it hilarious though that once a girl turns 18, it is like she all of a sudden went through a metamorphosis both physically and mentally, so it is ok to be attracted to her. Nothing says maturity like some predetermined age.

lol what if I question the morality of marriage at 18?

In some countries people are betrothed and wed as early as age 13. Hell, my own grandmother gave birth to my aunt at age 15.
Do you think she was mentally mature?
You'll find no disagreement from me. I'm more of a person who judges maturity by things other than a numerical age (within reason of course). Heck I have a 14 year old cousin is far more mature than most people I know at my age!

Same here. I tend to find that the more mature you are, the more responsibility you can handle; rather than the more expected thesis, which says maturity is proportional to intelligence.

What about her?

She was in the article. Smash Brother doesn't seem to find her particularly bangable.
Also, Stogi, is that "====o~" in your sig intended to resemble an ejaculating penis, or is it just me?

Well... yes of course. But I've seen enough dumb people to know most of the time, your brain's not ready at 18.

I'm not doubting that. But most adults agree, you don't even really know yourself till your like 25.

To me, you are NOT an adult if you hit your mid 20s, or even your early 30s. Yes, you are legally considered an adult and you set out to start a career, start a family or do whatever the hell you want in your life. But you are basically getting the hang of things, learning the truth of life and finally figuring out who you really are. In order to be considered an adult you have to be in your 50s or even 60s since by then you have experienced many things.
No matter how "smart" or "wise" a 20 or 30 year old might seem, they are still kids trying to figure out life. Hell, you could have experienced all of life's harsh realities at an early age and that STILL doesn't make you a mature adult. That's something that takes years to form.

Jack Nicholson is an adult. We should learn from him.

Are you really discussing the most effective way to draw a penis using symbols?
Now I can't deny it any longer. This forum has gone down the shitter.
Yet its from your sig so you're to blame.
I think this is as clear as an example as there ever could be. After a two week hiatus, I come back and conversation immediately devolves. I swear I don't try to do it! It's not my intention!

Hey, it does look like an ejaculating penis smiling man with a long nose and a white goatee and a very pink face, maybe he had just recovered from significant burns to his face or something.

Who's hating?

I think about 4 of the pics were completely off and not funny.
You had such good material for jokes, why go to Hannah Montana and Lisa Simpson, and that stupid scary girl from Fear.
Now, some on the list were completely worthy of such a creepy list. Sakura being one of them...but seriously, are people just running out of ideas for lists?

Notice the anatomically descriptive use of the Icelandic 'Eth' character.
At least half of that list is legal in Pennsyl-vania/tucky.
