Title: Christmas List
Post by: Mysticspike on November 30, 2008, 06:48:02 PM
It occured to me that you all must just be dying to go out and get me Christmas gifts, so I made a list...

-A car
-A house
-A computer
-2 million dollars
-A guitar

And if that's not enough, be creative.

What I really want though is the whole guitar hero world tour pack. I got just the game cause I didn't have too much money, but with my level of obsession with guitar hero, I don't think i can do with just the game.

i was playing with a friend the other night, we took turns alternating between guitar+vocals and drumming. At one point he sucked so bad at the song I stopped drumming to lower the mic down to my level and sing it for him. It was weird since theres hardly any space in my room, it felt like i was singing into his crotch. weird.

JEW is ok, but The Middle isn't one of my favorite songs but it was alot more fun to play then i thought it would be. Maybe it was cuz i was drunk, who knows.

Anywho... Spike, do you have any money for wii points? If so might i interest you in a forum Secret Santa??? See my sig for details!

Nah, "broke" as past tense for "break" is archaic at best.  The word "broke" is nowadays almost exclusively used to refer to being out of money, so being literally broke is completely possible.

I imagined a couple of responses from some of the forum members who aren't fond of me, but nothing as great as that parallel, ShyGuy.

You can work for me. You could be my apprentice.

No no. You would just watch me have fun and write down my experiences, which I will later use to write a book. :)

You should read "I hope they serve beer in hell." It's about this guys experiences and it's hilarious.

eh.. Last time i tried to read a book based on some guys experiences i wanted to find the guy and kill him. I've learned never to take anyones suggestions for reading a book, especially if they fucked the guy that wrote it.

Not that i'm saying you knew the guy you're talking about... not that theres anything wrong with that

Fair enough. Here's two hilarious opinions about the book; maybe it'll wet your appetite.

"I find it truly appalling that there are people in the world like you. You are a disgusting, vile, repulsive, repugnant, foul creature. Because of you, I don’t believe in God anymore. No just God would allow someone like you to exist."

"I’ll stay with God as my lord, but you are my savior. I just finished reading your brilliant stories, and I laughed so hard I almost vomited. I want to bring that kind of joy to people. You’re an artist of the highest order and a true humanitarian to boot. I'm in both shock and awe at how much I want to be you."

I forget how young he is sometimes. I think for kids his age that picked up the word MILF from everyone else, it must just mean something more akin to "hot older lady" rather than what it actually stands for?

Basically, do this little exercise if you think a post is close to the sexist line...

Pick a few female friends of yours.  Will your comment make them uncomfortable and/or angry?  If the answer is yes for the majority of them, don't post it. ;)

Now I'm waiting for the "I have tons of friends who wouldn't be offended by that." response.. but still, I hope you get the gist. :)

I'm mildly insulted at how small you think my vocabulary is. Seriously, I learned that in middle school. And yes, I know what it stands for.

But anyways, sorry about that Pale. End of discussion.

Like Perm, this is the first Christmas that I didn't ask for anything gaming related.  I don't remember the last time I did that.  Then again, I'm 19.

I almost asked this girl for a book.  In stead, I told her to surprise me.  Now, she's making me something, and I'm not sure what.
