I don't like going because the air conditioning in the majority of cinemas suck balls. They make me want to pee way before I even have to, making it quite uncomforatble to watch any movie because I don't want to miss any scene, and also because I can't pause and make a good snack to keep enjoying the movie like I can at home.

I just watched in DVD this morning. Been holding it since Tuesday when it arrived in the mail. Netflix had better sent my Dynamite, it was on the top of my list as soon as it was able to be.

I actually liked Spawn. Did it do that bad at the box office that we were to never to even think about a sequel? It just needed better effects and a little more action and it would have been fine.
One thing I was disappointed about with this movie (Black Dynamite) though was in the extra/deleted scenes. They took out the Barry reference. That scene should have actually been in the movie and played in the previews. Ask him what happened to that scene. I'll find you the clip if you need to know what I'm talking about.

I think Spawn wasn't a total commercial failure, im betting it had some competition. It came out in 1997 so it was somewhat forgotten after movie Titanic Titanic. According to the Wiki article it made double the budget so it was a success. The Movie has not aged so well, its very 1990s

That's awesome...awesome to the max.
I really like Spawn's story, it's extremely badass, especially the eventual outcome of that story (fighting the devil for his freedom). I really didn't think Spawn (the movie) was such a bad flick, it was just a little cheezy in the action department. I think with what CGI is capable of today, it could be the next Batman Begins.

I think it's just a relative weekly page counter. So if you normally get 2 page views per week and then last week you got 13 then you STARmeter goes up 650%. Then this week you were back down to 2 page views but it was down 85% from the previous week.

i had the chat with caterkiller on aim. Basically as soon as i got done with watching Transformers 1 on premier night my first thought was I better go write a GI JOE script. So i did some research on the series, because it had been a while. This was before Dark Knight had came out, but i had been a Batman Begins fan and Dark Knight pretty much came out how I had hoped it would and that was the type of treatment i would have given GI JOE if i had wrote it. However within a week they found a regular Hollywood writer and a regular Hollywood director and within 2 weeks after searching for a writer they had a script written Batman Forever style. I knew it was going to be a huge budget kids movie that was campy and cheesey, and after pre-production/filming and release thats exactly what came out. So, my conversation with Caterkiller was there needs to be a straight up nonGI JOE move, different name of course. Thats like a grindhouse exploitation style with like a slick plotline that does all the things that rock in an action movie that they'd leave out of a kids movie. It would be total GI JOE though. There would be the duke type character, an indian, a ninja, a red headed chick basically GI JOE characters with different names. Cobra though would be like a real fucking evil terrorist organization. Like the craziest thing to come out on the internet was when Nick Berg had his head chopped off. I've done a lot of research, its just taking and putting everything together. I could do all sorts of movies with some of the research iv done. I'm filled with ideas really, its just converting those ideas into movies is a problem. One idea i have i have no idea how to build a plot around it.
i pick you, blacknmild, caterkiller, and Kashogi because theres some degree of creative synergy i see. Like iv written a 57 page comedy before, and what I really need a co-writer or co-writers because i can't bounce ideas off myself.
