Well this is a unique idea to say the least.  It'll be interesting to see how it turns out.  I'll keep my eye on it.

Ah crap, I wanted to make a topic on this!  Looks and sounds absolutely brilliant and aligned to my tastes, which means almost no one on these boards will even give it a second look!  Oh well, definitely added to my wish list... ='D

"Attention, please! I am sick of RPGs with gender-confused boy heroes with their spikey hair and ginormous swords living out an absurd ultimate fantasy. Is having your village burn down all you really need to be a champion? And a scar on your face is supposed to make you… What, dark and brooding? Try uncoordinated."

Atlus press releases are the best freaking things EVER!

She is doing that because she is fighting losers and she is gonna humiliate them and thus make them feel more like a loser than before.

Bill it looks like a chain is attached to her chest which is attached to a ribbon which is attached to her cape.

Why is that Zap? It is because she likes to have a little bit of style while her cape is waving in the wind as she runs.

Also, gah, they really should have put a different logo on there, right now it looks like an Ubisoft DS game.

Posing.

I don't think they're trying to market this game to girls so I'm not sure they should use a font that looks like it's a game for playing with ponies and keeping track of your friends' fashion.

Isn't this the wrong time of year for April Fools jokes? Seriously, a game where you're a God and can do anything? How is that a challenge? I mean, I'm sure it's fun and all, at least for awhile.

Looks no worse than Super Princess Peach's logo, so I'm good to go!

BTW, a scar on your face means you were in a striking fraternity but not for very long, tons of scars mean you stayed there :P

Gamespot hated it, 5/10 (http://www.gamespot.com/ds/rpg/sekaiwaatashidemawatteru/review.html)

And I guess I'm slow because I didn't really notice until now that the game is strongly based on Dungeon Maker (that game where you have to dig a dungeon, attract enemies into it and kill them, some liked it, others found it tedious, I got it for a tenner a few days ago) with all the enemies I've seen in screenshots being taken straight from the earlier game and even the combat actions and the mimic slime thing match.

It sounds like the mimic slime's behaviour was altered a bit* from DM, in that game magic use and strength were independent of each other (magic was an attribute of the head, speed of the feet, strength of the arms and defense of the torso) so you could have a lightning-fast, giant-club-wielding master spellcaster. I found getting HP for it a bit hard though since it can only copy the HP enemies have, not go above it and my humans usually had way more HP than the regular enemies so my slime is currently a combination of healer and attack mage with a giant club, high defense and speed but still tends to die first in battle. Sounds like the difficulty remains intact too, in DM I did use status effect spells (which I usually avoid in RPGs) because enemies are so damn dangerous you don't want to let them get many attacks off.

*= Or the reviewer didn't care to describe it how it really works.
