I can tell you why there haven't been any protection.Dasmos figured out who everyone is.Don't believe me.Go look at the Player and roles thread.Dasmos is the Mafia Godfather.I saw him sending a PM the day he was being voted out.I am certain it was one of his mafia friends.

In an effort to increase my post count, [spioler](What do you mean they don't show a person's number of posts anymore?)[/spoilerz], I'm going to post another quick message.
If you haven't selected a bloody Sonic character yet, please do so. I'm suck of having to select characters for players just to kill them off. Pick your own dang animals.
Second. The minimum this game can last is 2 more days and the maximum it can last is 4 days which would fall on a Saturday. Just an idea of the timeframe we are working with here.

For the record, and from the grave, in private messages, you can still see post counts. DAaaMan notified me when I hit 3999 the other day, via this method.

This I know. It was more just for a joke. And now you ruined. Also, you're dead. I believe you know this already. If you really wanted to say something, you could have said it in your dead thread. But appearantly you hate your own creation and want to be a part of mine. I understand. It's so much better. But rules are rules. So get back to your stinkhole. You... funkiller you. Also, you may vote in the poll. Please don't vote the Khushrenada sucks option. I can't take the rejection of others.

Maxi: Dasmos has figured out who everyone is, but he is a honest player and would not tell the remaining living townies.
I tried to warn everyone that Stogi was never investigated and probably wasn't mafia. I have tried to be upfront and honest about what I know. The reason there is no mafia protection is because of an unfortunate rule that if the mafia protects someone that person being protected is revealed the day before. To protect a mafia member means they will be exposed in the game.

I don't get what you're trying to say, Maxi.
Also I have to say mentioning who is being protected is a bullshit rule, for both the townies and mafia. I honestly thought the identity of our protection would be kept private, but reading back it's not the case. That's a little off to me. Also I think making the protection last through the day until the next night should be changed too. It should last from the night the protection is made and through the next day. That way it could be used to counter a hit instead of just deterring a hit for a night.
Just a little rant.

Dasmos: I actually 100% agree with you. I thought the rule was fine with protecting the townies since it also protected from the vote the next day...it meant nobody had to waste a vote on protecting someone.
But the Mafia doctor only gets 2 protections and those protections would reveal an identity it made the mafia doctor role useless. It completely crippled the role.

Maxi: Not exactly...if the Doctor uses his protection the person they protected has his identity revealed as protected. This means if the Doctor protects a mafia member then that person will be identified.
It is a bogus rule.
Also, the mafia members all know each other anyway, Dasmos wouldn't have had to tell the mafia that "Hey they aren't voting for us, don't use your ability." Because they already know that.
This game of mafia is getting exciting and fun again...it is what Mafia is supposed to be about...searching for any clues possible to the next vote, but mainly stumbling in the dark.

Maxi is right, except for the voting for me part. Yesterday was too close for me. If I were mafia, I would've protected myself last night from today's vote and pretended like it was a set up. And yet I didn't. Why? Could be because I'm not mafia. They haven't used their protections because they haven't come under fire yet. So, who else hasn't come under fire???

This IS late in the game. It's really make or break time for the mafia. I was just saying that since it was close for me yesterday, I would've used the doctor to protect myself for the next two days, hopefully bring down the townies by 4. It just would've been the smart move. I could've lived for 2 more days. Instead, it seems I'll just die today at a cost to the townies. I'm still pretty sure that the mafia hasn't used the doctor yet because either the townies were wrong, or it was hopeless anyway. This makes me think that whoever is mafia hasn't come under fire, without being fully exposed to use the protections, yet. I came under fire yesterday. Why wouldn't I have protected myself or have my cohort do it?

I've voted everyday, talked everyday, didn't start bandwagons (that I remember of), answered EVERY pm I received. *sighs* It seems the Mafia will win this one even if the odds are on our favor.
Right now, I've only had pms with Maxi. No one else (left alive) has sent me stuff.
I guess the preasure i put yesterday to vote for Stogi got me suspicious. Gues what, it was an honest mistake. I trusted Pale's judgement 100% and whomever is leading this, is probably Mafia.
Maxi, what I really want to know is who started this bandwagon.

Right now, I'm an easy target for the mafia to start a bandwagon vote.
Why? Simple.
I haven't talked much in PMs or posts, other than the vote and maybe a short sentence, and the ONLY person left alive that has PMd me is Maxi.
During this whole game, I never trusted ANYONE, with the exeption of Vudu (confirmed townie) and Pale (cause Vudu seemed to trust him).
That is my only defense. Townies don't trust me, the remaining Mafia know this because I'm sure youve all been talking to each other in PMs :)

sigh...I hate/love this part of the game. I hate voting and not knowing what is going on, but technically this is what the game is about...the speculation and trying to figure it out.
