Title: Mega Man 7, 8 bit style.
Post by: Djunknown on September 27, 2008, 12:32:16 AM
Might be old news for some, if so, move along.

Destructoid found this little gem (http://www.destructoid.com/indie-nation-33-mega-man-7-the-8-bit-version-105162.phtml) amidst the release of Mega Man 9. Its not a hacked ROM, so please mods, don't plop this into that legally challenged area...

Gave it a quick whirl on Burst Man's stage, and walked away pleasantly surprised. Aside from clumsily controlling Mega Man with keyboard controls (Gonna look around for some app that allows Joystick mapping to key strokes), it could be mistaken for a legitimate release. Sounds good, sprites are good, has the game physics that you're use to in a Mega Man game.

Anyone else willing to play it if they have some time to burn?
