In the year 20XX, science has grown boring. Humanity has become more interested in other pursuits such as sports and the internet.
In order to gain back relevancy and interest, science has made a deal with the devil and created it's own reality series. Now, in it's 27th iteration, the Nobel Peace Prize Science Fair of the Universe is the most watched show in the world.
The fair works in this way. Every year, scientists from around the world come to compete bringing their latest and greatest inventions. Each day, a worldwide audience votes for who's invention they like least and he is taken out of the competition. This goes on until a winner is finally determined.
While it seemed like a sound idea, over time the competion brought out the less desirables in the scientific community. People who made compelling television instead of compelling inventions. Now it has become a freakshow spectacle of people trying to get their 15 minutes of fame by behaving badly and making crap.
However, in the 27th iteration of the competion, something different happened. Determined to win the prize, 3 scientist have banded together in an effort to win the prize at any means possible including murder. Of course, this was all unbeknownst to the audience.
Now let us turn our attention to the events of that show as we watch the circumstances and situations that went on during the week science went into the crapper.

Announcements post.
There is no forced voting.
The day ends at 8:00 pm EST. Mafia hit action is due a half an hour after that. Then the next day begins.
In the event of a tie, we will stick to the old rules. All votes cast are frozen. Only someone who has not yet voted can break the tie. If the tie is not broken, someone who has not yet voted will instead be randomly chosen and killed. If everyone has voted, then anyone is free to change their vote during the tie break period.
If you do not want the tie broken by a non-voter, then change your vote before the deadline and it becomes frozen.
Feel free to role-play away and come up with some good inventions to keep you from getting killed.

Meh, I just haven't gotten it yet. I didn't know the game was starting today. I'll have Dr. Mario and be in character in a few hours. Don't let that stop you, though.
Edit: After some troubles, Dr. Mario has made it to the scene! The game officially begins!

In character or not in character? Hmmmmmmm.
Regardless, if you've got info or want to talk something out with someone, I'm your man. I've messaged a few people, and heard a lot of nothing, which doesn't surprise this game.
Anyone know any good science jokes? All I can think of right now is pasta.

Ya but people make these types of jokes all the time without delving into racism. So they can still be innocent and funny.
But your right, it probably goes the other way more often........
