True story: at a Nintendo forum I used to frequent, a poster - let's call him Hal (I don't remember his real username) - made a thread about how he was attracted to his cousin, and he put a picture of her up. This wound up ruining is life.
A classhole (http://xkcd.com/72/) - let's call him Snuggles - saw Hal's post and hatched a plan. Snuggles goaded Hal into giving him his address and phone number. Then he got in touch with Hal's mother and let her know about Hal's infatuation.
Hal was kicked out of his house and ostracized from his family.

Then, he bumped the thread about Hal's cousin. Then he called Hal's home and got Hal's mother. He told her that she'd find something Hal posted online to be of interest, and gave her the address.
Hal's mother went to the forum, but by the time she got there, Hal had deleted the post about his cousin. Unfazed, Snuggles made a new thread with a title like "Remember when Hal had the hots for his cousin?" In it he put a copy of Hal's incriminating post. Then he called Hal's mother again.
A week or so later, Hal let us know what Snuggles had done. Then he told us that he had been kicked out of his house, and ostracized from his family.
Wow. Well I don't intend on giving out my address or phone number.

Hey guys, I just ordered some candy, but I guess they made a mistake and instead of 2 boxes they sent me 2 TONS...I can't possibly eat all of this candy, so I'd like to send some to you guys, but the problem is that I don't where you guys live... :tpg:
