Title: Damn it! don't you hate it when the feel a sickness coming?

I don't know about you guys but whenever I get the flu or bad cold I feel this soreness in the back of my thought. Usually the day BEFORE I actually get symptoms of the cold. It's like a warning sign that your about to get sick.
I don't know if its just my body or a universal thing. I just started a new job and new semester classes start next week, and I REALLY hate to get a cold.
I have some "Ester C" tablets and I'll take 2 before I go to bed, but I just feel it coming. I don't tend to get sick more than 2x a year but damn dorm so easy to get ill in.

I can always tell when I'm about to get sick because I start feeling cold...And considering I'm usually fine walking around in sub-40 Fahrenheit temperatures in shorts, it's pretty obvious to spot... =(

Two years ago I was at the PNE. Big annual fair in Vancouver for those that don't know. Anyway I was going to go to McDonalds for dinner which is about a block from the fairgrounds. But I was thirsty so first I stopped at a water fountain to get a drink. Almost immediately I felt like I had cotton in my mouth. Sure enough by the time I got to McDonalds like ten minutes later I had a sore throat and was all stuffed up. I usually can tell I'm getting sick but in this case it just hit me so quick. I wonder who the extremely contagious person who used that water fountain was.

No disease can come on that quickly. If it was really from the water fountain, it had to have been an allergic reaction.

It's not a joke. Seriously I was sick almost instantly. It was really weird. Maybe the water fountain part was a coincidence and I just happened to first start feeling sick at the moment following using the fountain.

My chest feels like somebody's sitting on it when I first start noticing I might be sick. If I can eat a couple of fruits and grab some juice, I can usually beat it before any real symptoms set in. Once they set in though, I'm fucked.

ian probably got some bacterial infection, bacteria can multiply quickly.

He would have got something from McDonalds 10 minutes later anyway. It's like driving out to a distant store for a rare game and on the way you find another store with it, and for cheaper!

i avoided the sickness which is a great update.
I took Ester-C 2-3x a day and 2-3 Air-Borne tablets a day
so I don't feel terrible and I guess that worked
