When Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars was announced by Nintendo at their E3 2008 press conference, it seemed pretty out of place with the fare they were offering up that morning.  Since the simple announcement of the game's existence – the first iteration of the series on the DS – few new details have been offered about Chinatown Wars.

At least one question was answered today when Rockstar Games updated their teaser page for the upcoming title.  The site reveals that the game, developed by Rockstar Leeds, will feature some form of Internet usage.  Positioned beneath the game's logo on the teaser page is the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection icon.  It is unclear how the game, set in a modern rendition of series hotspot Vice City, will utilize the Wi-Fi Connection.  However, more information on the upcoming title should be forthcoming as the game is scheduled for a Winter release.

I wonder if you'll be able to trade clothes cleaniers, boot leg disc shops, and acupuncture clinics.

Vice City was my favorite GTA locale as well, but if they want me there on day 1, it better be in 3D.
