According to Corre, "the Red Steel brand is strong … [but] [the first title] was a bit rushed to be sure to offer something in year one to Wii consumers." With the creation of Wii MotionPlus, the Red Steel team has been at work for "many months now … [and can use] this new device ... [to] be even more precise."
No other details were revealed, but players can probably expect an enhanced sequel to the first Red Steel sometime next year, after the Wii MotionPlus debuts alongside Wii Sports Resort in the spring.
Call me crazy but I'm actually looking forward to this. I think Red Steel needed a lot more time to make it right, and if they put in 1:1 sword controls and spend the time to make 2 good, it may be the game we all thought part 1 was going to be.
The best thing about Motion Plus not coming until next year is that Ubisoft can't rush this out for Christmas.
James, any comments?

Yeah, I was about that. Is this enough of an apology for the glut of casual titles Ubisoft is making?
