Well it looks like it is a update to the Photo Channel. The version number is 1.1-a. I don't know if that is the only update.

It says it in the upper left hand corner. When I updated I updated from the original version. Maybe you need to download it from wii shop channel.

It seems that the photo channel can only display "baseline" .JPGs. I just go and re-save in GIMP with the baseline box checked and they work in the photo channel just fine after that. hope that helps your problem.

I really hate the updates for the Wii because they are almost always anti-climatic.

You should get a modern browser, with tabs. That way, there's no clutter!

Yeah, those would work if you're a masochist. :P

Just about every modern browser supports tads however, whether it be IE, Firefox, Opera, or Safari.

i have that at home, its conveniant for a few things but i tend to close out the window and lose all those tabs, sucks. Oh and more importantly, i cant do that at work which was my original complaint.

I was too lazy to manage tons of windows at my work terminal (and yes, one extra window is too many when i have a people coming in and out of my office and a camera on my back at all times)

And From these Tads we will have Frogs and are glorious Frog leadership shall begin.

Anyways...

I think we have more substance in this thread then the actual update.  Not to mention I'm pretty sure it takes more space on  a disk.

Congratulations everyone!  :cake;

FYI, there's an option to warn you if you attempt to close Firefox/IE when multiple tabs are open.

Unless, like me, you somehow managed to turn it off and scream bloody murder for an hour.

thats what happened at home and i was too lazy to play with settings to ever get it back. now i'm just more careful when trying to minimize things.

More like too DRUNK to find the obviously placed check box to turn the warning on.  ;)

IN IE 8 they took that a step farther and ask if you want to just close the tab your in or close the whole browser.

That's because Micro$oft likes to babysit people.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"
"You clicked 'yes', are you sure you meant to?"
"Are you really, really sure that you want to do this?"

That's because I am a terrible poaster.  likes to babysit people.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"
"You clicked 'yes', are you sure you meant to?"
"Are you really, really sure that you want to do this?"
And people still do incredibly stupid things.

Personally I like the option I know there are plenty of times where I automatically hit the big X when I want to just close a tab and I know better.
