Title: Mr. Adolph Vega
Post by: Dasmos on July 17, 2008, 04:34:49 AM
Mr. Adolph Vega or MAV for short has taken the forums by storm with his stella enthusiasm and class. Some hardcore examples:
Quote from: Big MAV
While I do love Pikmin Series, but as of late it seems more and more like they are just wanting to anger its base. Sort of like the exec's are around the table and trying to find ways to say **** you in more unique ways to the base that kept with them.
They will probably screw it up somehow and make it super easy and only carry 5 pikmin around because soccer moms will think the game is confusing. They will go and use Atari 2600 graphix because realistic graphics are not friendly to casual 90 year old gamers. And it will release in October 2009 and have a piece of plastic attachment that looks like a pikmin flower that does nothing, and require balance board to walk no nunchuck you need to run like in real life and waggle the controller to do anything.
Nintendo will find a way to screw this up, just wait and see. They don't give a **** about hardcore gamers anymore they only care about girl gamers, children and elderly.
Wii has become the console of 3-12 year olds, Girls and 35-100 year olds. If your 13-35 the games are not coming for you.
damn this E3 i had so much hope, and now I wonder how much I'll get for my Wii if I trade it in.....
Bigotry is a hardcore trait.
Quote from: MAV-dog
SO ****EN pointless.
I know this for casual gamers, but casual gamers are not mentally retarded 5 year olds that are easily entertained by digital fish.
Why did they even make this game ?
horrible.
MAV hates the casual gamer, he is a hardcore.
Quote from: Mr. Adolph Hitler
i didn't see this posted until very late last night after i finished "nightly relaxation teqnuqie". I read the entire first one bit and I was exicted and very much enjoyed reading that. The 2nd part was ok but I fell asleep soon after. Not because it was boring but it was so much to read.
you guys should of released parts of this over a week. It's allot of reading and to much absorb at once.
I wonder what his teqnuqie is? Maybe he can teach us his teqnuqie after he has finished teaching us with his boundless wisdom.

I saw good consoles die face down in the mud to protect this guy's right to **** up the forums

He was extremely negative about the confirmation of Pikmin, something that got Ian to say something positive about Nintendo for the first time in nearly nine years. He's one of the finest trolls I've ever come across.

Well lets be fair here, Ian was only moderately positive about Pikmin. He still got in a Nintendo jab and said that he wasn't getting his hopes up until he knew it was actually something he wanted.

Yeah, but when was the last time Ian was even moderately positive about Nintendo as opposed to wishing Nintendo would suddenly spontaneously combust? I'd say he was bordering on cautious optimism, which is quite a bit more positive than assuming Nintendo would screw it up and then listing all the ways they could screw it up.

That's fair though. Wouldn't you feel better if your mode of engined transport has more than one wheel?

But the hardcore take pride in using that one wheel with skill and art.

Even with Ty's sudden departure from Emo-ness, you guys have gone and Emo's up this thread. I think the Pikmin jab is hilarious, however. It's kind of like how the Capcom guy said his brother gets intimidated by games with good graphics.

After reading his Zack and Wiki impressions, I now view him as the greatest member ever.
Really, go check it out and be amazed!

Mr. Vega's reasons for buying Wild West Guns on WiiWare:
"i don't have wiiplay and I have perfect shot guns and the game is racist and only $10 so thats good for me."
Yes, the game being racist is a good reason for Vega to download the game.
Are we sure he isn't someone's dupe account?
your paraphrasing just doesnt do it justice. I went and read the post in the talkback thread, which i admit didnt do until you took this blurb from it. The original is sso much better:
Quote
I think its very funny all the racial stereotypes in the game. You kill them all so its not racist, but its funny to see the 'mexican militant stereotype' and 'savage native american' and you have to shoot them. You also have bad guys and cow girls too so not all the women are helpless. And for some reason they have 'mad scientist" which are dressed in purple and loaded with TNT and run at you in Suicide Bomber style.

Do you think he's seen this thread and is now just doing these things so that we keep talking about him? Like now he's trying to play up our expectations of him and so he's just saying these things because he thinks we like it?

I've always believed that he knows what he is doing and is doing it on purpose, for the sake of the lulz.
He says some incredibly dumb stuff sometimes, trolls a lot of threads and contradicts his own opinions.

I will remind you all that personal insults are against the forum rules. I'm trying not to take this funhouse thread too seriously, but some of this hating on another forum user is spilling over into the rest of the forums. Warnings have been given, threads are being re-railed or closed, and bannings are imminent if this behavior continues. If you don't like this guy, too bad. If he's breaking the rules, report his posts to the moderators and let us take care of it.

Dasmos, your rallying cry for mass reporting of posts is as much a threat as ShyGuy threatening to report yours. Both of you are wasting our time. Stop it.
Anyone reporting posts without legitimate reason is breaking the rules and subject to banning. SUPER started this thread himself and it is fully within his power to ban this guy if he wants. Do not try and get the rest of the staff involved. CEASE AND DESIST.

Considering that Vega was originally the name of the character we know as M. Bison (the names were rearranged in the hopes of avoiding anyone's ears getting bitten off by an angry Mike Tyson), it's not really that big a leap from Adolph Hitler to Vega.
