Title: Zelda OOT
Post by: BwrJim! on July 12, 2008, 11:33:41 AM
Just curious,
I havent played the leter releases (have the gold edition on the 64) and I was wondering to those that have played the VC releases, does OOT still have 2 endings?
thanks,
BwrJim!
(ignore friend code, game and system were stolen, new code now)

Similar question: On the VC release, does Ganon have red or green blood?

None.

Can someone else answer the question? I have no idea the seriousness of Pro's response.

It's a digital texture therefore it is not blood.

But what color is the digital texture that is meant to represent blood during the final battle with Ganon?

who cares? the important question is, what does Twinrovas fire attack look like? is it the awesome looking effect from the original game or is it the weird, cartoony looking effect found on the GC Collectors Edition version?

Way to go off-topic. To answer the original poster's question, the answer is no. Nintendo added a new bonus ending for the release of OoT on the Virtual Console so there are now three endings for OoT. The third ending isn't much and I don't think it's really worth the effort but if you want to be a completist go for it.
I know it's fun to joke around in a thread but at some point, we should help a person out.

Considering the topic creator hasn't logged back into NWR since creating the thread two weeks ago, I'm not so worried.
However, I'm here everyday, so why won't someone answer my fucking question?

Twinrova's fire attack was done with a trick of the N64 hardware that Nintendo either can't emulate or isn't willing to bother emulating, so even though I haven't played it, I'd be willing to bet that it isn't in the VC version.

in that case its not worth the download. that n64 fire effect was amazing looking, the emulated version looks cartoony, almost cel shaded compared to the rest of the game.

You do know your name has the acronym BFS right? Do you know what The BFS is?
Google to the rescue! The British Fuchsia Society? Hmmm, I give up, do tell! Actually though, my username is a combination of Black and Footsteps so technically I should be BF, but eh BFS has stuck.

I just NOW, 11 years later, found out that the deku sticks do as much damage as the master sword. My jaw hit the floor when a friend showed me how you could beat Gohma in what... less than 20 seconds?

haha, yeah on my third or so replay i beat gohma super fast, gotta use all the weapons at your disposal. Deku seeds, knock him the crap out too. No need to aim your slingshot.
What i'm having trouble with is catching the fishing pond guy's hat. I don't remember it being that DAMN hard. The first time I did it on accident, i was pissed at him for not coutning my lure, so i aimed at him. Bam got his hat. Now its like hard to reproduce.

You can catch the pond guys hat?!? As young Link or Teen Link?

Isn't there a special trick to make the deku stick indestructible?

Something like that. There is a glitch which allows you to continue to use a broken stick. I think you can do that by jumping off a high cliff, then press "A" to do an attack with the stick. If you hit a wall with the stick thereby breaking it, and fall far enough to take damage, you'll still be holding the broken stick after you land.

Be sure to use the spells on all the Eye Stones to unlock the last Tunic and the alternate ending for Malon.

ugh i hated the poe catching the second (more like 20th?) time around. I knew every fucking location of those bastards and there was one that disappeared thru a wall in Hyrule field never to be seen again. I was SO pissed off.. and if you cant tell, i still am.
