Title: That dang spider in Metroid fusion.

I try dodging and avoiding till he opens his jaws and then blast him but every time he grabs me and go ups and pile drives me to the ground, two of those and I'm pretty much dead having to start over, I think the most I have hit him is 2 also. There must be a trick to beating him??

If so please share the wealth...

I know he throws fire down at you but if you have to choose between being hit by the fire or being grabbed by him, choose the fire, that will hurt you MUCH less than when he gets ahold of you.
