I sat there for a while and tried to start a new brawl but you never joined despite appearing online. Eventually I gave up and went to sleep. Maybe next time.

Question, is Brawl really that bad online? I have been contemplating getting it but I want to play my nephew online and if it is as bad as people claim then it might not be worth it.

Where does your nephew live in relation to you.I think it has to do with the distance between the people. I played with Yoshi who is in the UK and I am in California our first few matches there was I believe 3 seconds in between pressing a button and seeing the result on screen. Of course this was near launch. So people hitting the servers was to be expected. More recently I have played vs. Pro and had no problems. Tell ya what When you get Brawl you can test it with me or better yet we can find someone in the same area as you two and we can test it like that.

My friend and I who live in the same city have had some perfect matches with no real lag, then some days the game is unplayable due to lag. Just this friday our first match was pretty laggy, but playable, then from our second match forward we had no lag at all. Throughout those matches, however, there was a time or two when the game would slow down to a slide show, then it would pick up again as if it never happened.
@Maxi I'm going to be playing at my friends house at some point today, if you're going to be online later tonight we might be able to play then. Other than that I'm good most nights this week, but I'm leaving to work at a camp this summer so this coming friday I'll be leaving for 4 to 6 weeks. hopefully we can get some matches in before then.

Sorry to quit like that but the lag was making me angry. You had some good strategies with diddy. Let me host next time maybe that will be better. As for your question I like time 3 minutes better than stock if I go with stock I prefer 3 stock. Do you want to cooperate rather than to tear each other up? Multiman Brawl?

yeah lag sucks, but at least it was playable for the most part. The items were not kind to you at all. I think i'll have to pass on the multiman brawl for tonight. If you want to play again another time though i'm always down for a good match.
