Title: Mini-Games...Boring... I prefer the NES Classics
Post by: theaveng on April 04, 2003, 06:32:46 AM
Anyone got them?  I looked around and couldn't find them here on the website.  What I'm looking for is the *Sound Chip* information.  How many bits, number of channels, et cetera.

Thanks,
Troy

The sound "chip" is actually integrated in to the Flipper. I don't know all of it, but this is what I remember:

DPL-II
Musy-X
A butt-load of midi
I think 16 bit audio.

From what I understand, Factor 5 actually worked with Nintendo on a lot of the design of the chip.
