So... there's the crazy, crazy old man who comes in often and will corner an associate (sometimes a customer) and talk to them for quite a while (like an hour or more) about all kinds of crazy things.
He's stopped me on more than one occasion and talked about such great things like how the British own all of the water in the United States.
Well, he stopped me again today when I was about to go to lunch. After answering his questions about Digital Converter Boxes, he attempted to, again, surprise me with his knowledge of how the British own all the water in the United States.
When he asked if I knew who owns all the water in the US, I replied "The British, of course!". "How'd you know that?!?" "I read it on the internet."
He then asked if I knew who owned Washington D.C. - "The French!". "No, the British own that as well." "No, really, it's the French, look it up!"
Thankfully, another associate was able to save me...

I thought we were gonna make Britain a state but they joined the EU first. UB, your vast knowledge never ceases to amaze me.

We all know Washington DC was owned by Canada. In 1814, during the war of 1812, (Americans can't even date their wars properly) Canadians marched to Washington DC and burned a lot of it down including the White House.

I don't know if this would stand up in court, but if Douglas Adams rose from the dead and showed up at my house I'd let him have as much of my water water he wanted.

You do know that a scene for Resident Evil, the movie, was shot here in Toronto. All I know is that they were filming on a bridge for a scene in the movie where they were escaping from racoon city.
