Title: Pap is ready to Brawl...AND KART! (Now with MK Wii friend code!)

You mean creating a room, waiting for someone to pop up then walking away leaving any opponents hanging?

I did that at the start of the evening when waiting for opponents, but then decided to just search around for them.
