I was thinking that may actually be rights issue...

I played the Japanese version for a bit. It's actually pretty cool. I don't know if there are a whole lot of objectives, but just free-roaming down the slopes is fun.

Balance Board compatible! Waiting for NWR to review it saying that using the nunchuck is better and that losing to BB users is humiliation. Arbok will support all these claims.

But if they did that the game wouldn't be 4 players.

You could still use remotes with nunchuks for four player games, it would just be an option to use two remotes, which I agree would probably be better.

I picked this game up a couple of days ago and have put a couple of hours into it. I don't know exactly why, but I really like this game. The graphics are alright as they fit the game. The trees looks horrible, but the snow looks great. The sound is passable, I guess. The best part of the game is the control.
I first started playing this game with the Wii Balance Board, so now I'm stuck on it. The BB controls are very intuitive because it only serves two purpose: making left turns, and making right turns. The more weight you put on your left foot, the sharper you turn to the left. Same thing for the right foot. The rest of the controls rely on the remote and nunchuck. As far as I know, if you have the BB connected, the motion sensors of the remote aren't used, unless you're doing aerial tricks.
One cool feature that I enjoyed about this game is the photo album. You can take up to four characters (Miis or game generated), have them assume any one of the 30 something predefined poses, and take snapshots of them in one of the games many locales. The snapshots can be sent to the Wii message board, where it can then be sent to anybody on your Wii friend's list.
The only gripe I have with this game, and it's a minor gripe at that, is that the in game tutorial assumes that you're playing without the BB. There were many times where I did exactly what I was told to do and nothing happened. Although the game already knows that you're using the BB, it does not take that into account during the tutorial mode.
Here's another thing, you can only play one player mode if you're using the BB. In order to play with 2 or more players, you have to have additional remotes and nunchucks.
I'm not going to try to justify the overall score. Or maybe I will by saying that I love this game. It kicks your ass after it rapes your face. That's how awesome it is.
Edit: For anyone interested, here's a video of me playing the game in FreeStyle mode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PW4FKzGWO74

See, are we sure you can have more than one BB connected at once? Cause I think you can't, and this game is a great example of it. Once I buy WiiFit, I will buy this game. It looks cool.
