The already computed earnings projections for the year were not calculated with any price cuts in mind, according to Iwata. Strong sales of both consoles along with strong consumer demand leads Nintendo to believe that price cuts for either system are unnecessary.
Analysts are predicting that Nintendo’s posted earnings projections for the year are actually on the conservative side and earnings will surpass the numbers projected by Nintendo.

There'll be new colors before a price drop. The Wii is just selling too well. Until the 360 price goes in to Wii range, I don't think there'll be a need for even that.IOW, you think a pricedrop in Europe is likely? (the 360 Arcade is 200E here, compared to 250E for the Wii)
