Rather than just offer a new piece of art sans the IGN watermark, Capcom is giving customers a choice. Aside from the replacement box art, two alternate pieces of art are being made available. If you have purchased the game, fill out the small form on the Capcom website and make your choice. Within the next few weeks a new piece of box art will be delivered to your door.
Save those misprints they'll be worth something on ebay someday.
I don't see what's so confusing unless you missed this news (http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/forums/index.php?topic=23828.msg419399#msg419399) in the first place. Does that help?
I love the cherry blosson cover, but why don't either of the new selections have an identifying title down the spine? :(

How did Capcom explain this in their press statement? Did they actually admit to it?
I can honestly say that my worst day at Capcom was this Monday. After releasing Okami for the Wii last week to some great reviews (Metacritic Average: 88), one of our Okami diehard fans discovered that the folks who work here at Capcom are, in fact, human and can make mistakes.
I’m speaking of the watermark that appeared on the cover of Okami. It’s sadly one of those things that’s hard to spot if you don’t know what your looking for, but the moment you see it, it becomes obvious and stares you in the face.
So this is how they spun it..QuoteTo better reflect the artistic nature of the game, we're proud to offer you new art for the outside of the box.
