Title: Bruji Gamepedia for OS:X
Post by: Flames_of_chaos on April 17, 2008, 10:39:29 AM
Note: Before I go on I must stress that this software is for Mac OS:X only.
If anyone of you are looking for software that keeps a good track of your gaming collection this software is fantastic. You can manually add the titles or even better if you have a barcode scanner or an isight (webcam) you can scan the barcodes, the program searches all Amazon's websites and then add it to your collection. Bruji also offers DVDpedia bookpedia and CDpedia(music). I personally was so impressed with gamepedia i bought DVDpedia and CDpedia as well each costs $18 but are cheaper if you buy a bundle.
http://bruji.com/ (http://bruji.com/) If anyone is interested and for our Non-American users you can pay in USD, AUD, GBP, CAD, DKK, EUR, HKD, JPY, NZD, NOK, SGD, ZAR, SEK, CHF currencies with what looks fair conversion rates.

Well that makes my program look like a pile of crap. If you check the sig, my game collection list is made with the program I wrote. I can post a link to it for anyone who might want it, it is cross platform, and is definitely less featured, but it is small and fast. I wrote it for personal use, but this Bruji thing is beautiful. I'll have to check it out when I go home.

I've seen this, and it looks awesome, but I don't think it's worth $18 so I haven't bought it (yet).

Here is a link to the program I wrote. (http://nicholasdimola.googlepages.com/Inventory.zip)
As I said, it is pretty basic, but allows you to keep track of multiple lists, and also lets you compile a master list with a little interface.
To run it, just double click the file Inventory.jar.
