MARATHON, Fla. (AP) — A 75-pound stingray killed a Michigan woman Thursday when it flew out of the water and struck her face as she rode a boat in the Florida Keys, officials said.

Pro already covered this story in a much wittier fashion. My condolences to you wandering.

The head looks like a duck. Maybe it was a mutant duck/stingray hybrid?
I'm rather confused by something...
When a Sting Ray kills Steve Irwin, no one is allowed to say anything in bad taste, lest the interwebz gets their collective panties in a bunch.
When a Stink Ray kills random person in a completely horrible, freak accident, suddenly the entire internet is allowed to make jokes about the situation?

Getting your head smashed by a stingray is hilarious. If that was my own grandmother I'd still probably laugh...then again, I'm an asshole.

That aside, the only reason I'd laugh about Steve Irwin's death is because I'm quite certain he'd laugh about it too. He spends, what? 20 years being "The Crocodile Hunter", literally PLAYS with many of the most dangerous and venomous creatures on earth, and then he gets snuffed by a relatively passive animal which isn't known for slaying humans like MOST of the other creatures the man messed with on a near daily basis.
I'm sure that, while he was dying, even Steve must have realized the irony of the situation. I know I would've, were I the croc hunter.
Haven't folks seen the videos of him teasing the massive, MASSIVE crocodile in his own zoo? I'm quite certain Steve knew he was going to die at the claws, fangs, etc. of an animal some day. He was a smart man, and he knew the risks he was taking, I'm sure of it.

Steve's last words: "Crikey! Aw you got me, mate! You got me!"
