In a recent Nintendo Newsletter, Nintendo posted the following details on the contest with Wendy's.  We're still trying to figure out what you would do for a full four days, but be sure to bug Bill Trinen for details on the new Zelda game while you're there.

I had Wendys today I didn't get no cup!  BULLSH!T

I did get a cup yesterday but I didn't know it was anything special (no game pieces) so I threw it away.  CRAP!

Do the three family members have to be actual family members?  Do we need proof or if I won could I show up with three "brothers" who coincedently are the same age as me?  Uh we're quadruplets.  Non-identicle quadruplets.

Sweet, come September 6th I'll be going to Wendys everyday.  No purchase necessary?  That's weird, does that mean I can go in and steal all the cups and if I don't get caught, I can still win?

Nah, it means that you can enter by mail if you want.  Get three envelopes, three pieces of paper with your address on each of them, mail all three entries to the contest address (check the website), and that's it.

joe: I think that's some legal stuff, AFAIK all of thse "win stuff" things have a no-purchase-required clause to prevent them from being subject to gambling laws.

Bloodworth I'm aware that I shouldn't have gotten a cup but the weird thing is I DID get a Nintendo related cup the day before which thus confused me.  Either that other Wendys goofed and gave me a cup early or they had a different cup before that had a Gamecube on it.

What's Wendy's? Some kind of McDonald's gone Wario?

Try McDonald's gone Peach. There's pink everywhere. They sell the standard reguragatated junk food, but they focus on ice cream, or something. At least the smell isn't as bad as Subway, KFC or MacDonald's.

Whats wrong with Wendys? You get more food for your dollar, unlike McDonalds.

I'm not so sure.  I paid $3.50 and I got a total of THREE chicken strips.  That's kind of a rip off if you ask me.  I think it does taste better than McDonalds and has some a few good things besides burgers like the excellent Chili and Baked Potatoes, but price-wise, they're on the upper end of the fast food chain.

Well, the  main problem for me is that the food is so full of crap that it has very little nutrition in it, and that makes me just get hungry again. You could buy wads of pure animal lard and eat that, probobly getting more weight per dollar than much else, but you wouldn't be well off at all.

If you want the most for your money get a Döner.

Wendys has the best dollar menu, for years upon years, they were the first to have it and still the best to this day.  Their burgers are cooked better, and the bread is better.  Their prices are also cheaper than Mcdonalds across the board.

I don't think McDonald's can compete with anyone in any contest, so Wendy's being superior comes to no surprise...

Mcdonalds has the best fries lol.  They beat Burger King there, and in desserts too.  But if we're talking about good fast food nothing beats Quiznos.

BAH! McDonald's has the second most awful "fries" I ever had! No taste, nothing. BK's pommes frites can be eaten without adding anything and still taste nice, the Van Holland stuff isn't bad, either (but their curry sausage is god awful) and I've gotten used to the stuff Nordsee adds to their frites, but McD's... I don't remember much about the desserts, but then I rarely eat desserts since I can barely stuff an entire Whopper in.
Ah, yes, sorry, forgot the general rule of fast food: Once you leave the cuntry everything you know is wrong. BK in Sweden sucked and McD's was awesome there, but here McD sucks... Oh, and never, ever, try to eat a Döner Kebab in France.

the trick with these debates on the Internet is that cooking intrinsically varies by the cook.  The ingredients and a recipes make a difference too, but even they have differences in different regions.
