Title: Wind Waker Help Please?

Ok I'm at the Temple of the Gods or Tower of the Gods whatever its called the place you go after placing all three pearls. I can't seem to advance I have gotten every treasure chest on the map that I can possibly get so far. There are a couple areas with eyeballs over the doorways and I am assuming you are supposed to shoot the eyeballs with your bow the problem is I don't have my bow. I'm I supposed to have my bow by now? If not how do I advance?

use the wind waker command song you learned after you put the 1st statue on the pedestal. If you haven't learned it yet then you haven't got the 1st statue yet. The command song is needed for statue's 2 and 3

I've learned the song and used it on the second statue and it doesn't do anything? I was assuming I had to get the path clear for the second statue before it would let me command it but I don't understand how to clear the path for it .
