Title: GBA SP Case from Best Buy
Post by: bevinkradford on March 29, 2003, 11:39:49 AM
I picked up my GBA SP today and I guess you get a free case from Best Buy when you get one.  Unfortunately they were all out so I got a raincheck for the case.  Has anyone gotten this free case?  Does it hold any games or cables or anything, or just the GB?  Also, how big is it and are there multiple colors to choose from?

Thanks!
Kevin

It comes in gold, blue, and silver.  It holds the GBA SP and you can squeeze a couple games in there.  It's tiny.

Thanks for the info!  Could you tell me what brand it is?

Thanks,

Are you sure that's the free Best Buy case?  I saw that particular one you describe advertised in the Circuit City ad.

Firstly, I should make it clear I didn't get an SP from BB, so I may be totally wrong, but...  The only cases I saw at BB--where the SP's would have been--were Pelican brand "leather" pouches in a very nice plastic box.  But for something that they sell for $15 otherwise, it is devoid of nicities.  All it is is a pouch, period.  Slip it in, slip it out.  No fold over flap, no belt clip.

I got one.  It isan officail Nintendo product.  It is made of the same materials as a back pack.  It has a zipper on it and it folds out just like the SP.  There is a velcro pocket on the front that can hold two games.  Personally I don't like it.  It makes the system to big to fit in my pocket.  Whats the point if you can't stick it in the your pocket?
