Title: Dear staff (This IS a political discussion)
Post by: Khushrenada on February 06, 2008, 04:38:43 PM
Why do you hate Picross? I demand that you change your policy on this situation and post a friend code thread for Picross. One of the greatest examples of online play available for the DS. I also think that instead of remaining quiet on the situation of Picross, you should be more open and comment on the game a lot more to give it more word of mouth. More people need to be playing this game to share their friend codes also.
In short, I believe change is neccesary. We need to change the friend code forum to include a topic for Picross friend codes. After all, there is nothing wrong with NWR that can't be fixed by NWR. (Well, maybe that isn't entirely true but it's rather inspiring.) As you may recall, I said during 9/11 that in order for NWR to move forward, it would need a forum to post friend codes for when a truly great online game came about. That time is now.
Read my lips, I really regret this choice of joke. I thought I might capitalize on the current political situation in the funhouse and took my post in this direction. But I realize now that it isn't funny and actually sucks. So, if you want to tell me off because of it, bring it on. Sadly, I just can't seem to stop. And now I fear that I will have lost my message of a request for a Picross friend code thread. Of course, I have nothing to fear but fear itself. I just can't stop the qoutes
Mr. Khushrenada, tear down this thread.

Picross is a adjective communist sympathizer.

I uh, think if you take, for example, take a look at this site's record, for games that feature, like you say, online play... if you take a look at this site's record you will see, I am sure you will see, a strong, uh, background... and sense of support... and indeed a history of supporting games of just this calibre. This site has reviewed, you will see, reviewed numerous games that have featured, uh, online gameplay in the past, and I would not be surprised if we kept on reviewing such games, in the future, and that includes coverage and uh, other aspects of this site's... this site's mission in regards to uh, nintendo games.
In fact I believe that this site has been a great, and I say great, supporter of games, uh, games that feature online connectivity. Already we are covering Super Smash Brothers Brawl, and I think you'll agree that that shows this site to be a great, uh, supporter of games that feature this sort of online play. I think that this site's record as a supporter of exactly what you talk about, speaks for itself, and that Nintendo World Report is a great source, a great source, for your Nintendo videogame coverage.
Umm... Next question please.

I don't read the site or Kairon's posts so I don't know what everybody else thinks, but I love picross. I bought the original gameboy Mario's Picross when I happened across it like last year

My roomie plays it on his Ds everyday on his commute. Seriously it offers the best Nintendo online support with hundreds of new puzzles offered over the WFC.

Huh? What does that have to do with anything?

SUPER is a Senior. Kairon is a freshman. Seniors pick on freshmen.
