Title: Tomb Raider 2 Movie Site Launches

Now that Ms. Croft is on GBA, her new movie would seem to fall under our coverage.  So here's news about the sequel's official website.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life has a new website at the link above.  The movie sequel once again stars Angelina Jolie as the beautiful British archaeologist with a knack for getting into trouble.

The website currently contains a brand new teaser trailer, downloadable goodies for your PC, and production stills from the movie's various on-location shooting adventures.  In the coming weeks, it will also feature an interview with Jolie, conducted by professional BMX rider Mat Hoffman, oddly enough.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life hits theaters on July 25.

Never saw the first one, but I'll take a wild guess and say it ends up in the 'gamer movies' bin, which is another way of saying 'mediocre'. Unless I hear otherwise.

On a semi-unrelated note, wonder if any progess is made in making a metroid movie....
