Title: Why does my puppy like Tostitos?
Post by: UncleBob on December 22, 2007, 11:56:26 AM
Our puppy really, really likes Tostitos. I don't know why. But he really, really likes them. They're his favorite treat. It's weird.

I guess this is more of a serious question, but does anyone know if salt is bad for Puppies? It's not like we give him a bowl full of Tostitos every night - just one here and there.
Although, I do wonder what he'd do if I did set a big bowl of Tostitos in front of him. He'd go all crazy...

Your puppy will die a horrible death.

Good. I don't like him much anyway, he's my wife's dog.
He much prefers to bite my head.

no your dog will not die.
Dogs like to lick your face because of the salt on your face. They just like salt in general.

They're somewhat high in fat content, so no its not good for him. However, in moderation it isn't a big deal.

Fat content could be a good thing... this dog is extra skinny as it is...
