Title: How does NWR fund its VC game purchases?
Post by: Kairon on September 21, 2007, 06:10:44 PM
You guys have to buy those all yourselves right? Doesn't that get expensive? Aren't you spending more on VC game purchases than server fees?

Do you need help? Do you need funding? Should you have fundraising drives?

I'm sure if they have the original in one of their collections, then no need to re-buy.
My personal theory is SUPER "loans" them a ROM

Actually, ShyGuy, it's site policy to never use a non-VC version for review, since you never know how the emulation will turn out.

As for how we pay for the games, it's for the most part out of our pockets.

I'm going to go click on ten banners now to pay for Karl's next VC purchase.

Edit: so I clicked on three banners then they all disappeared. I never knew that!
