Title: The 4400
Post by: BlackNMild2k1 on September 16, 2007, 06:21:49 PM
Does anybody else watch this show?
If you like science fiction, super powers, and the plot of a comic book brought to life in a much better way than any movie has done to this point, then you should be watching this show.
Go buy the season disc, or find the episodes by some other means if necessary, but this show is a must watch especially for all the fans of a show like Heroes, or the X-Men comics/movies/cartoons spoiler*don't read*and the bible?*don't read* spoiler.
Season 4 just ended and I can't wait for season 5 to begin, but that is so far away, I don't really want to think about it.

Hello there. I think I may have started one of these threads last year. Waiting for my girlfriend to come over so we can watch the finale.

I thought I remembered one from a while back, so I did a search and nothing popped up. Thats why I started another one.
When I first discovered this show it was halfway through the 3rd season, so I immediately "acquired" all the episodes I could find and went on a 2 weeks 4400 marathon. The show had me that hooked right from the start, cause its that good.
This last episode was pretty good though. Nice set-up for season 5 too. I'm not sure what direction everything is about to go in, but it a shame that that a lot of people had to die in this episode to get the show to where it is now.
I thought that Shawn would have sent his brother to live over in Promise City since everyone there was already Promison Positive he would have done no harm there. He could also been a City protector as no one that is either promison resistant or positive could ever enter the city to begin with unless they are capable of surviving a shot. But then again, anyone that came in contact with him could never leave the city for fear of spreading the promison virus to unsuspecting innocents that didn't want to take the risk.

I watch it every now and again. Can't say that I'm in love with it. I usually end up watching it like Saturday or Sunday morning (whichever morning it is) when they have two, or three, or four episodes on in a row and I watch/listen to it while playing around on the computer. The only sci-fi show that I really am into right now (that is still still on the air and hasn't been canceled or ended its run) is Eureka, which like The Closer, I new before I even watched the first episode I was going to love. =)
