Post by: 18 Days on September 03, 2007, 12:25:48 AM
In this recently released photo, previously hidden in the bowels of the internet we see a group of 4 people enjoying Killer 7, truly enthralled by it's stunning beauty.
From left to right. 18 Days. Termin8Anakin Mario Infernal Monkey (barely pictured)

Termin8Anakin
Didn't he leave a long time ago? Or was he banned? I just remember he was a pretty popular poster. And yes, I've been browsing the forums for about that long...

And wow. You have been browsing a long time thatguy. Termin was a big guya few years back, so big that he even ahs a guest article on PGC if you look hard enough. ANd then he got bored and left. I think now he spends his time doing his masters in film and having sex with his highschool girlfriend.

The latter. I flew over to Sydney at the start of last year to meet them all in person.

And I headed over to Perth earlier this year to catch up with RAB and attend a games conference.
There's plans in the pipeline for another gathering (January's looking less likely for me due to work), but it depends on our organisational skills, which is know worldwide as being terrible.

I find it funny how the thread implies that Killer 7 puts you to sleep. One time when S_B was playing the first two chapters one of our friends was watching it when all of a sudden one monster popped out and laughed very loudly. He got VERY scared and started to jump and squirm in his seat! It was hilarious! XD

What's amazing about it is that Suda 51 managed to create a game which divides the fanbase in half. Seriously, I've never seen a game divide people like this (some Wii games maybe, but never like this).
Its one of those rare cases in which both camps are right. The fans are right in that the game features an exciting, surreal storyline along with very unique characters and messed up sense of humor while the haters are right in that the gameplay design is pretty bad and presented it in the worst way possible (I really hated the game until I finally saw the second chapter. It then made sense).
Killer 7 is the equivalent of an art house film; a rarity that few see as a masterpiece but with severe flaws.
