The first game, Garou Densetsu, better known as Fatal Fury in North America, is a classic fighting game first released in 1991. SNES and Genesis versions of the SNK-developed game exist, but the Neo Geo version was the arcade original. This is the first of several Fatal Fury games, and it is scheduled to arrive on September 11.
The second game is also a fighter, this time developed by ADK. World Heroes was originally released in 1992. Much like Fatal Fury, it was released on various platforms and spawned sequels, but the Neo Geo version was the original. The game will be arriving later in September.
Finally, Magician Lord rounds out the pack. This ADK-developed fantasy-themed side-scroller first appeared in 1990 and is unique to the Neo Geo platform. Though also first appearing in the arcades, it was a pack-in game for the Neo Geo console system. Magician Lord also arrives later in September.
Currently, there are no scheduled Neo Geo game release dates for regions outside of Japan.

Well, remember how ridiculously priced the Neo Geo was to begin with? $649.99 at launch with games over $200 each. And that was in 1990.

I'm guessing their logic is that the games came from a system more powerful than SNES but less than N64. The only even amount between those two systems is 900 -- which some SNES games even go for over there. I'm not trying to justify the prices; personally, I think the entire catalog is overpriced.

Compared to the original price of the titles, everything on the VC is a great value. Compared to today's worth, a lot is overpriced. I think if Nintendo priced on a game-to-game basis and had a lot of the pathetic stuff priced lower, we'd see a lot more traffic in their sales. I also think Nintendo may want to start a deal-of-the-weak promotion. That's just stuff I need to add to my list. At any rate, I feel like they've got a "can't see the trees through the forest" type of attitude about the VC, in that they see the profit some of their titles make, but don't realize that less popular titles could become much more profitable at lower pricing schemes.
And they need ways to get rid of 100, 200, 300, and 400 points. I don't like sitting on inactive cash. It's not good economics-wise.
Anyways, time to go play some Raiden Jet Fighters at the student union!
