Title: Sans Spoilers: Metroid Prime 3 Extras - What do they all do?

So I didn't feel like digging through filler filled and spoiler infested threads just to get info on the MP3 "extras". Specifically friend vouchers and the Wii Connect 24 stuff.
I sent the few vouchers I had off to some folks... now what?
Do I bother to turn on WiiConnect24? What does it buy me?
The manual is devoid of any of this.

If you want to unlock all the extras you will need to receive friend vouchers which turn into friend credits. Credits are the main currency that you use to unlock the extras like art concept, soundtrack, and cool extras for your ship, credits also come in the form of red, blue, and yellow, a variety of combinations of all these credits will allow you to unlock all the bonuses I've mentioned.
By the way the extras are listed in the extras menu before you start your savegame. Some of them have a ??? on them but I think those are just for the diagrams (or is it dioramas? hm), but I haven't unlocked those yet, damn those yellow credits sure are scarce.

The Phazonmids or what ever usually drop gold credits my brother found that out by accually not advoiding battling them. When they break up they either turn into the blue or red verity you want the red ones. Two are found in the Sky City, and one underneth the golum that intially says you don't have the ability to power up the golum.
You need the X-Ray Scan. You go to his head and do an easy "combination" lock puzle were you line up barbs.

Looks like they call for green tokens too. So you get those when someone sends you a voucher? (Assuming that b/c the vouchers were green in color)
So do I need to convince other to send me a voucher? I sent one to Bill as a test.

Doh, I forgot to mention that the friend credits are green, sorry. The answer to your first question is, yes. So if Bill sends you a voucher, or anyone else for that matter, you will get a green credit.
