Everyone who disagrees or doesn't want RE5 itself to come to Wii, think about this. 1. If we get thousands of signatures on this, Capcom will know there's a big crowd for a Resident Evil game other than Re:UC.2. Not everyone can afford another console other than the Wii. I'm one of those people. Even if you won't buy the game, please consider signing it for those of us that will. 3. I realize the graphics, and AI will suffer by the movement of the game to the Wii. The gameplay will probably excel though due to the Wii Remote and Nunchuck.
So in conclusion, please sign!

Why not, I'll sign it. Although 24,630 people is really not a lot, when you consider how people would have to buy the game for it to be worthwhile for Capcom.

Capcom actually said that they'd pay attention to the Resident Evil for PSP petition if it got over 10,000 signatures.
With both petitions more than double that number, I'm certain that Capcom has at least seen them and taken them into consideration!
But for this petition to grow, you'd need to find new places to post it. It got large boosts when it was featured on GoNintendo , and on the VGChartz forums. Where has the petition not gotten attention? Destructoid maybe? The Kotaku/Joystiq blogs? The NSider2 forums?

Well, since it's Capcom, they might announce the Wii version right before the 360/PS3 version hits with a comment that it will have "added content"... you know, just so they confuse their consumers about what version to actually get and slow overall sales... cause Capcom is just that awesome when it comes to the business side of things.

Because Mega Man X was Capcom just trying to hip up/revision/make cool for a new generation a classic and timeless character. Instead of just using teh same characters and pushing to innovate the series with the timeless characters we loved.
They modernized him...took all the personality out of the character, and made him this character that kids will look at and say COOL.
But there was nothing added to the game they couldn't have done with regular Mega Man, they didn't even teach him to shoot Up. It was completely and utterly stupid.
And guess what, they have been doing it over and over again, with each new generation of gamers, and now look where Mega Man is, and how insanely stupid his design has gotten...and just keeps getting worse.
Why not Bring Back Old Mega Man, and if you want to keep some of the animal themed bosses cool, but perhaps maybe you should keep some of the classic bosses too...they may be cheesy, but there is something uniquely special about them.
I just really hate modernizing characters for no reason. I sucked when it happened to Mega Man, Winnie the Pooh, Looney Toons (Lunatics Unleashed), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Original Comic to Archie Comic to Ninja Turtles Fast Forward) JI Joe, He-Man, The first season of The Batman on WB which took all of the supporting cast of Batman away...need I go on. Of course not.
