Title: Help with SNES please

Hi guys

I have just purchased a second hand SNES and im having trouble tuning it in. I have tried using both manual and auto on the TV but its not picking anything up. Anyone have any ideas about what im doing wrong?

what kind of inputs are you using?  composite? RF? S-video?

Check the back of the SNES and see if it on CH3 or CH4 and check the RF box if it also CH 3 or 4 then turn the TV to Ch 3 or 4

If you have an N64 or GCN composite cord. Just try using that and doing it through the DVD, VCR, AV channel or whatever. RF really is a joke.

Probably doesn't apply, but if you've got an SNES-mini (the smaller, newer unit), don't try hooking it up with an S-Video cable - it doesn't work.

As for your current situation, I'm going to recommend trying 18 Days' method, if you can.  If you have a N64 or a GameCube that is hooked up and working, try unplugging the a/v cables from it and plugging it into your SNES just to make sure it is actually working.
