Anyways, they're my favorite, and I think they're my best, but it's a little hard to tell. I can't play at a competitive level, I tried once, at a contest that people from all over the state showed up to, and really, I didn't win much, though I did alright. I'm better than JonK from Starmen.net, though. I beat his Ness several times. I never did email him like I meant to, though. I can do a little bit of wavedashing, but I'm not able to slide a smash with it very well. I did start picking up some combos the week before the competition. One of my favorites is to grab with Popo, then use the down special w/ Nana, throw, and grab again, even if it doesn't work perfect.

I was never a fan (original game sucked, the characters sucked in melee, the level sucked in melee, and their moves have no logical basis in the game they come from) so I wouldn't have been sad if they had been dropped. I'm kind of ambivalent.

Although, as an after thought, I'd like it if they summoned two 8-bit versions of themselves, and all of a sudden, you'd have four Ice Climbers instead of two. That would rule pretty hard, too.

This is something that would be awesome as an item for any character, every character has a sprite counterpart so far, right?
Also, isn't therea pterodactyl at the top? if its a condor is nothing alike.

Wikipedia agrees, and there are way more Google results for "Ice Climber" condor than "Ice Climber" pterodactyl.
The plot of the game seems to be that the condor stole your veggies.
As for the sprite idea. Ike doesn't, and Fox only sorta does. Also some have really fancy ones like Diddy which would kinda defeat the novelty of such an item. What exactly would this form do, anyway? It would be kinda pointless if it were just like Super Paper Mario's, since you can basically already do that.

I could see Ice Climbers have a few different Final Smashes.
1)The cause the entire stage to be frozen in ice making everyone slip around during the fight, except for them, because they are immune with their ice skills and shoes.
2)A huge Ice Attack they both use together to freeze people that get caught in it for much longer. Allowing them to push the blocks around or carry them and throw you over the edge.
3)A reviving Final Smash allowing you to bring back your partner.
4) Condor Attack is doable.
5)Blizzard attack.
6)They transform into Giga-Ice Climbers the two big bad muther-Ice Climbers.

Well, in the Japanese release of SSBM, there were seals. At least I'm pretty sure of it. It got changed to those other poofy guys for North America.
Forget all the haters! I am happy they are back. It would have been cool to know if they've changed any but since nothing was mentioned, probably not. Still I think they're fun.
I like the original game too. I remember playing it when I was young (and on emulation) where it had the seals. CLUBBING SEALS BABY!

No, no, there were poofy guys (Topis?) as well as polar bears. Polar bears were in the Japanese and European versions too.

Donkey Kong Jr has always been Diddy for me.
