My Wife plays Viola, and I showed her the Quartet video...she wasn't that impressed.  They were off several times and hit some pretty sour notes.

yup, i think they have messed up thumbs from playing to much zelda, making them worse players.

He said the 12 hole ocarinas aren't available wfor now2, the guy who makes em is setting up his website still. The pendant ocarinas are from songbirdocarinas.com, the same people who advertise in Nintendo Power. However, Songbird makes a 4 or 5 hole sweet potato ocarina to resemble the OoT one, though it doesn't have the range of the one the guy in the video uses, and hence, is more limited.

I was kind of surprised at the sour notes too... Some maybe not necessarily so much sour, as just mistranscribed. They seem like good musicians (judging by their good tone and dramatic swaying/bobbing)...
