This is still a messed up idea. Obviously Sonic runs faster. Obviously Luigi jumps farther.
It's just... weird is all.
Still, graphics look okay for what it is. DS version looks neat too.

Yeah you are right about the game being strange in the way it has the characters compete. Personally I am taking a wait and see approach I have my doubts though!

I dunno. Hudson HAS been pretty cheap in their MP efforts... oh what am I saying! Sega has 'em beat hands-down at cutting corners when developing.
My only hope is that this game has room to be delayed and improved if necessary since these are the SUMMER olympics we're talking about.

Nintendo: Ok shoot.
Sega: Instead of releasing our Olympics game around the time the actual Olympics start . . . why not release it around the time all the best Wii games are coming out!
Nintendo: That's...a horrible idea...
Sega: Dude we're Sega, we totally know how to make successful games.

Personally I think Sega has the same monkeys with roulette wheels as Sony does, because outsourcing is so much more efficient!

Someone tell Sega tzhat the Wii isn't a dreamcast, they can add enough polygons to make Tails's tails not be that obviously blocky. Plus someone tell them that that light shader looks retarded.

Someone also tell Sega that the world isn't going to end when the year changes to 2008. I mean apparently all these games being shown are scheduled for an '07 release.

I'm going to make a prediction. Even if this game does a great job of emulating the Olympics, it's still going to be boring as hell because it's based on the Olympics. I don't care if this game starred Jesus and friends it's still going to suck.
