Hey I just want to know who's getting Ruby or Sapphire. I'm getting Sapphire because my friend is getting Ruby and we want to trade the Pokémon.

Neither, I know an updated version will come out later. Maybe I can get a Charmander now.

I bought both. I found something interesting, I imported both, and when I open the US versions there was a E Reader card in there that you can use with the game. I wonder if Nintendo added this on for the US version since I do not remember anything like this in the Japanese version. (But then again I can't read Japanese.) Because it seems like a good way to add a little more plaiblity to the games. (If you have an E-reader which I have been planing to get.)

I picked up Ruby yesterday, and I have been playing it almost none stop since.

I got the Sapphire version because blue is my favorite color and sapphire is by birthstone. And the blue Pokemon on the box cover looks more interesting to me than the red one.
And BlkPaladin, I don't think the e-reader has been released in Japan yet. I remember reading something about that not that long ago. I could be wrong though.
