Title: Get a Free Wii Keychain
Post by: Pale on June 13, 2007, 11:04:08 AM
All you have to do is register your copy of Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree and fill out a quick online survey.

Nintendo of America has been slipping those "Register your Software" codes into their first party games for a few years now, but the people who do so have not been rewarded with much.  There have been nowhere near as many free goodies offered in North America as there have been in Japan.

Well the customer service site just threw us a bone with this offer.

Nintendo wants to get to know our fans better through a special Big Brain Academy survey program. All you need to do is register your copy of Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree, and fill out a quick survey to get a free Wii Remote keychain. Click here to find out more!

This keychain is most likely the same light up keychain that was given to the press at the recent event held in Seattle.

Thanks to UncleBob in the forums for the heads up.

And, a special bonus for the forum goers...

That's the secret link you can use to see what promos Nintendo has going on.  Check it often.

This is ACTUALLY tempting me to buy this title. Gol'darn it. I love these key chains. Got one at GDC and got another one by renewing my NP subscription. (gave that second one to a teacher)

I think Circuit City has it on sale for $40, if that helps.

Giving away a free keychain doesn't justify charging $50 for what is obviously a budget game. I thought about getting the game if it was $30 or less, but the $50 pricepoint wiped those thoughts away.

The keychain isn't really there to get you to buy the game, it's to get you to take the survey...

I would love a key chain but would not like to spend 50$ on the big brain game.

I know that. I didn't say you get it with the package.

They finally give something away for all those worthless codes and it's on a game I don't want to spend the money on.  Why isn't this a budget title anyway?

It's a great deal except for the buying Big Brain Academy part.  $30 for a keychain.

Well, it is an NoA offer.  EU gets the Stars program and JP gets Club Nintendo.  Does AU get anything?

'meh.  Anywhoo, BBA probably isn't worth $50 for some of y'all, but I'm enjoying it and so is my wife. So suck it.

UncleBob hasn't even had it for 24 hours yet.  It makes sense that he isn't sick of the 15 games quite yet.

Man I may have to get BBA after all! (Well I was thinking of getting it anyway).

With all the great games I've been getting lately (Puzzle Quest, Mario Party 8, Planet Puzzle League) 24 hours is about all I have time to spend on game anymore.

Besides, you're just mad because I've had it less than 24 hours and I've already beaten all your scores besides your main test score (which I've only taken once - and that was the initial time without reading the mini-game instructions).

My main test score rules all.  Good luck with that.

Yeah for UncleBob seeing Mario Party 8 as a great game. I've had a blast with it.

I know this message was for Pale, but after reading this I decided to play the balloon game first tonight.  I unlocked Expert by upping my silver to a gold on Hard.  I played Expert and got gold on my first attempt!  It was a close one.  I got 307g for 100% in 1min58sec.

While I do agree that this should have been a budget title, I like it a lot so far and I don't regret my purchase.

Wow... You're good at math.  It took me a few tries to get gold om expert.  My first time through, as soon as the first round popped up, I just stood there frozen thinking "What the heck?!?".  I reset and went for a second attempt.

That reminds me.  I've got to do something with my Wiicode.  I've only even looked at it once.  I've really got to spread that around.

Yeah, the $50 price on this keychain is really untenable. I'd get it for $30... maybe.

So, UncleBob, do you choose who gets the wiimail message, or does it automatically go out to all your friends?

I bought the game yesterday, haven't played it yet though. So I'll be getting a keychain!

You choose who you send it out to.  I just sent it to everyone though.
