But no seriously, Black as in "The video game on PS2 made by the people who made Burnout" Black. I borrowed my cousin's PS2 and am in the process of playing through this game. I'm liking it so far. It's pretty generic as far as the gameplay and story are concerned but it does it all very well. Looks and sounds great too. My biggest complaint so far is the hit detection, Followed by the fact that can take a dozen shots to take down an enemy from a medium distance.
Incidentally, I purchased the Split Fish EdgeFX controller to play the game too, since I hate dual analog. It's... both good and bad as a controller.
Anyone else play Black and like it?

I love the game, though I agree that its an average FPS. I have it on xbox and its a purty game. And its a bit like Burnout where its a nice game to release some tension. But its short, took me 6 hours to complete and the lack of multiplayer makes it a little difficult to come back to. Once done you can choose what level to play and some can be intense. Also, headshots are fairly easy. I try to run through the levels seeing how many head shots I can get.
I only bought it cause it was $20. Originally a rental was all it was worth.

Did you play through the game on easy or normal? The levels take me a few hours apiece.

Wait, this is Black, not Wind Wan - er- Walker. Its not the size of the muzzle, its how many rounds per second you pull off. Um, that doesn't even rhyme. Whatever, just because its gun porn doesn't mean it has to relate to it, right? Right?
I suppose the length of the game depends on your gaming style. I'm all Quake like. I even end up playing Counter-Strike like Quake. Run n Gun.
